We called Dex first because he had the best reviews in the Murphy area. Being a former realtor, I didn't want to fool around looking for an agent. Our house in Florida was under contract and due to close in 28 days. Dex took us for a whirlwind tour of the area and we looked at 14 houses that day. House 14 was the one and we made an offer the next morning then headed back to Florida. Dex took care of everything on the NC end and kept us well informed. If you are going to buy or sell a home in murphy, n.c.. don't even think about using any other realtor than Dex, he will give you nothing but the number one service. I tried two other companies and they lost the keys, did not show the house, took wrong pictures. all they wanted was the listing. I initially emailed 3 different realtors, Dex was the first to respond. This was on a Saturday, he called Saturday night. I set up an appointment to meet him on Tuesday.
